Fees & Funding
CAMP operates within the NDIS funding framework for eligible participants.
Families are provided with clear documentation outlining:
- Applicable NDIS support categories
- Service agreements
- Billing processes and timeframes
- Support ratios (1:2 or 1:1 where applicable)
- Alignment of funding with individual learning needs
Where required, we liaise with support coordinators and plan managers to ensure clarity and continuity.
Transport
Transport may be available for eligible students where required and supported through appropriate funding.
CAMP transport arrangements operate within defined supervision and safety frameworks to ensure student wellbeing during travel.
Families receive clear information regarding:
- Pick-up and drop-off arrangements
- Supervision during transport
- Expectations for readiness and routine
- Communication regarding changes or delays
Transport arrangements are discussed during the enrolment process to ensure suitability and alignment with student needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does tranistion from school work?
Students can begin engaging with CAMP from 16 years of age to support a gradual and supported transition.
This may include attending on selected days throughout the school holiday period to build familiarity with routines, staff and expectations. During their final year of schooling, students may complete structured transition days arranged collaboratively between the school and CAMP For Kids & Adults to ensure a smooth and supported pathway into post-school learning.
From 18 years of age, students can transition into CAMP’s full-time learning program following completion of formal schooling.
What level of support is provided?
Support levels are based on individual needs and NDIS funding arrangements.
CAMP operates within structured supervision frameworks and provides support aligned to each student’s Individual Learning Plan, communication needs and safety requirements.
Students are supported within a 1:2 ratio or 1:1 support provided, depending on individual needs and funding arrangements.
This ensures students receive appropriate guidance while continuing to develop independence within a structured learning environment.
How is progress communicated?
Families receive regular updates through Seesaw, providing insight into daily learning experiences and progress.
Formal reviews occur periodically, and communication remains open between families and the CAMP team as required.
How are learning goals developed
Each student has an Individual Learning Plan informed by assessment, observation and family input. Goals focus on iindeepedence, communication, wellebing and real-world life skills. Progress is monitored regularly and programs are adjusted as skills develop.
Does CAMP work with my child’s therapists?
Yes. CAMP values collaboration with external allied health professionals to ensure goals and strategies are reinforced consistently within the structured learning environment.
Therapists are welcome to communicate with educators and observe where appropriate.
